Power of Colors!!

Welcome to my blog & a new post!! It’s all about colors today. Since our family room is on the sunny side with big windows, I ended up choosing Grant Beige by benjamin moore as the wall color. It is such a beautiful color but I needed a bright {accent}} color so badly since we get longer cloudy days where we live.

This pic has the Grant Beige by Benjamin Moore with colorful accents (A):

This Pic is the Suntan Yellow by Benjamin Moore with the colorful accents:(B):

As you can see, how dramatically it changes the mood of the room, either way I kinda like them both. If you were given an option to choose, which one you would prefer the most, feel free to comment.

Thanks for the read!!

DIY the “wooden” vase!!

Hi!! I’m back with another craft idea. Clear vases crafts are endless, Today’s post is about how we could change the look of clear glass vase into wood look alike.  All you need is a clear vase of your choice and brown acrylic paints, i used  folk-art real brown and english mustard.

I started painting inside the vase with the real(darker) brown. So it will be much easier to paint the outside and get the look of it.

DIY Ottoman Tray!!

Hello all!! We are in much need of an ottoman tray. This is also a leather ottoman , so i have to move my other one to our master bedroom.  Back to tray, I would like to do it myself  : ) .  I will share with you how i did it, will be glad if you are interested to make one for yourself : ).

Many options to choose from ,picture frame tray are the most popular in pinterest , very creative but not my style. So opt for some thing else, found this tray(?) in the basket aisle at Marshalls. Fell in love with the shape and it can hold a lot of stuff.

Pebble Grey Galore!!

My to-do list is growing bigger everyday. We are living in our house for 8 years now but didn’t paint a single room yet, first my older one was a toddler that time and now my little one ,so waiting for her be done with making  “artwork” on the walls : ). But i have a plan to paint rooms one at a time. First is the powder room and the next thing on the list is to make a gallery wall and make foyer look little bit more attractive. As of now it looks like this, not attractive at all.
